Price Is Right Baby Shower Game + Easy Decoration Idea!

Another year, another baby shower!

Last year around this time, I came up with some baby shower games for my sister’s shower (I can’t believe my nephew’s almost one!!).

A few weeks ago I threw a baby shower for my (future) sister-in-law and I thought a price is right game would be the perfect way to gift her a bunch of essentials, as well as add a fun game for everyone to play!

If you’re unfamiliar with Mr. Bob Barker, The Price is Right is a game show where contestants have to guess the prices of regular items, from barbecues to grocery items to sea-doos.

In this cute baby version, your guests have to guess the prices of common baby items! It’s a fun way to see who’s familiar with these impending costs, and who hasn’t got a clue how much a baby costs lol.

So without further ado, here are the printables I made for the game.

Price is Right Blank Sheets

Because the items you choose and the prices they are will differ vastly from person to person, I’ve created some blank sheets you can fill in yourself!

This game was so so fun to make and it was a lot of fun to play too!

Here was my setup – with some pens for filling out the sheets, some baby photos of the parents to be and some cute flowers to tie it altogether!

Here are a few item suggestions to get you started on filling up the inventory for the game!

Suggestions For Baby Items To Buy:

  • socks
  • baby shampoo/soap
  • box of diapers
  • pack of wipes
  • face cloths
  • swaddle blanket
  • onesie
  • shoes
  • hat
  • baby tylenol
  • diaper cream
  • pacifier

Tip – Double as your gift!
I picked some smaller items off of her registry to add to the game, and filled in the rest with items that will get used indefinitely (no worries on duplicates!).
It can add up quickly, so if you’re on a budget this can definitely be your gift to the parents-to-be – don’t worry about bringing a wrapped gift as well!
Buy quality items they will actually want and it can totally pass as your gift.

Simple Decor Idea (That’s Also Another Gift!)

Another adorable idea I came across when planning this shower was to have four stacked boxes spelling out BABY (like little play blocks!)

This was also another great opportunity for a gift, so each box was actually a box of diapers (in varying sizes).

I simply wrapped each box in brown wrapping paper (from the dollar store) and printed out these letters, cut them out and glued them on each box!

I would also recommend wrapping the boxes in the place they’ll be displayed – we had an hour and a half commute to the party location and the wrapping paper had it a little rough in the car lol!

Voila! A super cute & easy decoration that doubles as a (much needed) gift to the mama and daddy to be.
