.Wowza, has it ever been a busy summer so far!
We’ve had a pretty jam packed schedule this summer, with lots of camping and events and though that was all fun, I’m excited to relax for a little while before ramping up again.
July started with a bang as we took part in a huge flying event out at the place we got engaged. The rest of July revolves mostly around our big camping trip, with a few other fun tidbits in between.
May was another super busy month, but jam packed with so much fun.
With full time school finally being done, I started working full time again at the beginning of May, as well as starting my online classes.
Not only that, camping season has come back in full swing and with the addition of a new trailer for us this year, we’re out almost every single weekend.
Saying this summer is a little busy is a bit of an understatement, and May definitely started out strong. But busy is fun and it makes me so excited to still have so much summer ahead of us.
July long weekend really never disappoints.
This year, Friday was Canada Day so we started our camping trip Thursday night after work!
The weather wasn’t looking too promising (there was a tornado watch on the radio on our drive out lol).
All ended up well and the weather actually turned out so beautiful and hot! I didn’t even need to wear my onesie to sleep!
Camping is my favourite summer activity, and obviously eating is my favourite year-round activity. So when combined, uhm hello yummy camping food?
I don’t know what it is about food while we’re camping, but it’s just so much better. Maybe it’s cause some of it is over a fire – maybe it’s cause there’s usually a few drinks in the system – either way, YUM!
