These really are the best chocolate chip cookies ever. Really, I’ve tried every recipe ever and this one’s truly the best.
Also, they’re the ones I’ve had since I was a kid & made with my mom growing up, but yes. So yummy.
The Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Start with your margarine, your sugars, vanilla and your egg and beat them together suuuper well.
This is the time I looove having my KitchenAid Mixer. Definitely does all of the elbow grease for me.
Also! If you are a fan of having a little taste tester of your cookie dough, and aren’t big on eating raw eggs, mix up the other four ingredients first, have your little taste, and then add your egg.
After that’s all nice and fluffy, it’s time to add in your flour, baking soda & salt.
Mix all of that together and you have your cookie dough!
Time to pour in your cup of chocolate chips, hand fold all of those in & grab your cookie scoop (or two spoons if you prefer).
Grease your cookie sheet so they do not stick, and plop your dough on top.
Stick in the oven for 12 minutes, or until they are light golden brown!
This recipe makes about 16 medium – large cookies.
Have with a glass of milk, or crumble over ice cream for an easy & delicious dessert! (of which you could have after a wonderful easy & quick meal such as this pasta!)
- 1/3 c margarine
- 1/2 c sugar
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 c flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c milk chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to Bake 350 F
- Put the first five ingredients in your mixer and beat until fluffy (a lot).
- Add the flour, baking soda and salt and mix thoroughly.
- Mix in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop in spoonfuls onto your greased cookie sheet.
- Bake in the oven for 12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
- Transfer to a cooling rack to cool
